About CLOVER

CLOVER is the design studio of Julie Jonlich. For twenty-five years, as Julie Jonlich Interiors, she has designed homes and workplaces across Hinsdale, Oak Brook, Clarendon Hills, Downers Grove, Naperville, Western Springs, La Grange, Elmhurst, and Chicago. In 2026 the studio became CLOVER, with the same designer, the same clients, and a wider view of how people want to live.

Julie Jonlich is known for her dynamic use of color, practical insights, and collaborative approach to design. A licensed and NCIDQ Certified interior designer, she focuses on integrating architecture and interior design; her philosophy includes smart use of space while incorporating practical and refined colors and materials.

A designer for over 25 years, she has designed projects throughout the country, including a wide variety of residential and commercial work, from urban townhouses, vintage apartments, and suburban family homes to financial institutions, health care facilities, and corporate interiors. CLOVER is a full-service boutique interior design firm in Hinsdale offering expert services in new construction, renovation (including historic), office (including home), kitchen, bath, and full-home design.

Julie is a professional member of the International Interior Design Association and has been a juror for the National Council for Interior Design Qualification licensing exam. She is a member of the Chicago Architecture Foundation, has served on numerous municipal advisory boards, and is an architecture and design feature writer.

She is the founder and publisher of CLOVER Magazine and Associate Publisher and Architecture & Design Editor of Hinsdale Magazine. Alongside the studio, CLOVER offers custom window coverings, cabinetry, furniture, and finishes.
